Blue water spearfishing has not been discovered till last few years in Mediterranean
waters. We can also see the nasty stain on fish population with the constant pressure on
reef environment with advanced commercial fishing in our waters. When things are not that
good and morales are low, there is nothing better than trying new things isn’t it!
Last few weeks, my dive buddy and I were thinking about preparing a entry stage blue
water session and it was definitely the time to go. Burley was ready, guns were checked,
new shooting lines were on, spears sharper than ever and few emergency floats were rigged
on the rib.

hard working sessions. And so we did.

difficult and more rewarding spots - just to put some water on this fire. After all, a
good trophy fish caught in rough conditions increases the macho factor!
